How do I become a member of the Legal Opinion Leaders panel? Just click on Join the Panel and follow the instructions. You need to be a reader of one of ALM’s publications, such as The American Lawyer or the New York Law Journal, or use Law.com or one of its sites. How do I benefit from becoming a member of the Legal Opinion Leaders? ALM understands your time and input are valuable. We want the experience to be rewarding to our participants. For joining and completing at least one survey per year, your benefits include: • Direct and exclusive access to the thoughts, opinions and attitudes of other peer professionals, as well as the highlights of results of each survey in which you participate. • Email alerts: Direct access, via hyperlinks, to newly released law firm white papers, Webcasts, podcasts, and other invaluable content —all available at Law.com…the best way to stay informed, and a step ahead. • Advance notice: Be among the first to learn of new products and services offered by ALM. • Management articles: Gain access to select, leading edge articles/business intelligence that focus on highly effective firm management. Do I have to participate every time I am invited to take a survey?We encourage you to take a survey whenever you receive an invitation. However, we are aware of legal professionals’ busy schedules and understand that will not always be possible. To remain an active member of the panel, you must complete at least one survey per year. How often are surveys sent out? Surveys will be sent out three or four times a year for you to complete. Completing at least one survey per year qualifies you as an active Legal Opinion Leader. After I receive an email invitation to take a survey, how long do I have to complete it? How is the information from surveys used? Does anyone have access to my personal information? How long do surveys take to complete? How do I change my e-mail address or update my profile? You can access your member profile by clicking and filling in the Member Login. You may then update your email, password, or change other member information. I lost my password. Is there a way to retrieve it? If you can’t remember you password, click on Member Login. This will take you to the login screen where you can click on “Forgot your password?” link. Your password will be sent to your e-mail. How do I de-activate my account? You may de-activate your account by logging into Member Login and changing your subscription option. You may also activate you account if you change your mind later.
